Thin film organic photovoltaic provides promising solar light-electricity conversion efficiency. However, the performance has been limited because of the nanometer-thin active layer, resulting in the low performance of light trapping ability. It is known that the metal grating structures show the scattering effect as well as the grating-coupled surface plasmon resonance (SPR) on the surface of those metal structures. In this work, we fabricated inverted plasmonic organic solar cells by nanoimprinting technique grating-coupled SPR enhanced organic solar cell.
