Metallic artificial structures (Metamaterials) are promising candidates to develop novel devices for circularly polarized light control. It is important to employ metamaterials with appropriate symmetries to achieve it. In this presentation, I show the recent progress of our research about the polarization control using linear and nonlinear circular polarization effect in planar chiral metamaterials and triangle-arrayed metamaterials, respectively.
