We experimentally demonstrated an ultra-thin metasurface carpet cloak that can be placed on an arbitrarily-shaped 3D object and make it undetectable by the visible light. Owing to the phase control capability of the metasurface nanoantennas, the hidden object can be invisible in both amplitude and phase measurements.
