Gravitational wave is the wave of space-time distortion expected by Einstein in his general relativity. Nevertheless many institutions have tried to detect the gravitational wave, it has never been detected directly because of weakness of the signal of the gravitational wave. Recently, the detection method using an interferometer is examined in many institutions, and, there are several interferometers in the world constructed for detection of the gravitational wave. In Japan, the gravitational wave detector 'KAGRA', a huge interferometer, has been constructed under Kamioka mine. We develop the light source of 'KAGRA.' To satisfy requirements for light source of 'KAGRA', high power and stabilization, we develop the laser system with the stable and low-power seed laser. In this laser system, output beam of the seed laser is amplified keeping its stability. In my presentation, I will give you the current status and prospect of the development of the laser system for 'KAGRA.'
