[14a-2S-10] Investigation of improvement of THz-wave imaging resolution by analyzing techniques of electromagnetic wave and ultrasonic wave

Spatial resolution of imaging and measurement area including the depth direction are in a trade-off relationship in terahertz wave imaging. We have been introducing analysis techniques that are used in electromagnetic wave or ultrasonic wave research field, and attempt to obtain a high spatial resolution of about a diffraction limit, even while using a collimated terahertz beam. We have been trying to improve spatial resolution by synthetic aperture technique or amplitude correlation synthesis imaging technique, and to discriminate materials by radar polarimetry.
