[14a-PA2-8] Electrocaloric Properties of PZT-based and BT-based Ceramics

Electrocaloric properties of PZT-based and Ba(Zr,Ti)O3 ceramics were investigated by indirect estimation and direct measurement of temperature-electric field (T-E) hysteresis loops. The measured T-E loops showed similar shape with strain-electric field (s-E) loops. Adiabatic temperature change, deltaT, due to electrocaloric effects were estimated from the polarization change of these samples.
