Metallic alloys such as Nickel titanium, chrome cobalt and stainless steel have been used to biomaterial for human applications due to their have good wear resistance, crevice corrosion resistance, and pitting resistance. In this study, photofunctional metal alloys were fabricated and characterized with steady-state spectroscopy. Reactive oxygen generation from the photofunctional metal alloys was evaluated with organic compounds decomposition reaction. Furthermore, for the feasibility of its bio-application, these photofunctional metal alloys were applied to the removal of unneeded microorganism.
