Previously, we proposed new type random phase pattern which can restrict the spot size smaller than the conventional one. In this study, we evaluated the advantage of the proposed random phase on computer generated binary hologram (CGBH) using Lohmann algorithm. The proposed random phase is formed by the phase modulation elements, which are displaced randomly. The reconstructed image applying the proposed random phase is relatively clear and smooth despite the Fourier image is distributed in the specific region. Therefore, we can expect that the proposed random phase pattern enable us to obtain both the quality reconstruction and narrow recording spot on CGBH.
