[14p-1G-1] High performance photovoltaic and photodetecting devices enabled by organic inorganic perovskite crystals

Multilayered device structures using organic lead iodide as visible light absorber are promising not only for high efficiency photovoltaic power source but also for high sensitivity photodetecting device. The performance of these devices depends on the choice of thin metal oxide materials and the interfacial design for controlled carrier collection. Our challenge to create sinter-less (low temperature-prepared) low cost perovskite devices based on metal oxide selective layers will be reviewed by introducing fabrication of high performance solar cells (efficiency >17%) and high sensitivity photodetectors (responsivity >620 A/W).
