[14p-2A-9] Phase transitions and photoelectronic properties of TiO2 nanoparticles containing liquid crystalline phthalocyanines

It was reported that changes in physical properties comes up when liquid crystal is confined into nano-scale space. On the other hand, TiO2 has been so extensively studied as photo-semiconductor and photo-catalytic material and typically porous TiO2 has been applied to a matrix for dye-sensitized solar cells. In this communication, the first results will be shown on one-pot synthesis of TiO2 nano-particles(NPs) which enables liquid crystalline phthalocyanine to be incorporated inside of the NPs.
