[14p-2F-4] Estimation of Plastic Stress by Integrated Laser Peening Simulation

We developed an Integrated Simulation code for Laser Ablation Peening (ISLAP) to estimate the stress and strain formations in solid metals.We evaluated the formation of plastic stress and strain in solid metals by solving hydrodynamics equations, the strain-displacement relation, and the stress-strain relation for the case the laser peak intensity 10 GW / cm2, the laser pulse duration 10 ns, the temporal pulse shape rectangle, the material type Al, and the type of confinement material water. Using ISLAP, we can estimate the plastic stress and the strain in solid metals.
