Indcyanine green (ICG) is a fluorescent dye which tend to accumulate the hepatoma. We have proposed the ultrasonic modulated fluorescence imaging method for detection of ICG distribution area in the body. In this study, a new probe which combined the light irradiation portion, the fluorescence detection portion and the ultrasonic warming portion was made and applied to detection of ICG distribution in the beef liver. The ultrasonic velocity-change image clearly showed the distribution area of ICG inside the liver.
