Implanted devices are required the surface modification to obtain the several functions which have biocompatibility and reject the foreign-body reaction.
In this study we developed the bioconjugated polymer medication on the carbon-base materials to improve biocompatibility to tissue in our body. The biocompatible polymer brush was fabricated via living radical polymerization on the carbon-based materials and the antibody can bind the polymer brush specifically. It can reduce the non-specific protein adsorption in body fluids.
