Superconducting nanowire single photon detector (SSPD) has several attractive features such as high detection efficiency, low dark count rate, and high timing resolution. However, it still have one issue to be solved which is response speed due to large kinetic inductance of nanowire. In this work, we present an fabrication and characterization of interleaved 4 elements SSPD.
