For the operation of a HTS rf-SQUID without using a substrate resonator, it is important to adjust the resonant frequency of the rf-SQUID itself within the controllable frequency range of the employed electronics. The simulation and experimental results of the resonant frequency dependence on the rf-SQUID design, especially the slit shape, will be discussed in our talk.
