[14p-PA3-3] Arbitrary Optical Waveform Generation by Simply Using Three Optical Elements

We report on new approach to modulating amplitude and phase of laser field. We need to place only a waveplate and a polarizer for amplitude modulation, and a glass plate for phase modulation in the optical path. We numerically demonstrate the generation of sawtooth, square and triangular waves with a repetition period of 8.06 fs.
