本研究では，ブリリアントブルー色素をドープしたポリイソプレン(PIP)を，エレクトロスプレー(ESD)法を用いてPMMAコア上にクラッドとして積層することにより，燃料ガスの主成分であるアルカンに応答するリーキー・導波変換型のプラスチック光ファイバ(POF)センサを作成した．作成したPOFセンサの飽和ヘキサン蒸気に対する応答特性の測定を行い，ディップコーティング法で作成したPOFセンサとの比較を行った．
