[15a-2L-12] Anisotropy of electric conductivity and local electronic states in a domain-incorporated BaTiO3 single crystal

BaTiO3 doped with dissimilar ions are expected to applications such as multi-layer ceramic capacitors and thermistors. These devices are mainly composed of polycrstalline ceramics. Therefore, it is rather difficult to evaluate fundamental properties that are essential for better electric devices. To this end, we used BaTiO3 single crystals in which intentional domain structures were incorporated. We carefully investigated anisotropy of electric conductivity and local electronic states around the domain boundaries.
