[15a-4D-3] Simulating 1-dimensional Ising model with an OPO network

A coherent Ising machine (CIM) is a network of lasers or optical parametric oscillators (OPO with which we can simulate Ising Hamiltonians to obtain their ground state. Our group recently reported a large-scale time-division-multiplexed OPO for realizing a large scale CIM. Here we report an experiment where one dimensional Ising model was simulated by using >10,000 nearest-neighbor coupled OPOs.
