We have evaluated the temperature dependence of dV/dI for several diodes to fabricate a temperature-measuring system that can be calibrated at a single temperature, on the basis of the fact that dV/dI is proportional to absolute temperature. A prototype system is demonstrated, which is based on a DC measurement so that it can easily be controlled by a personal computer.
