Keywords:development of teaching materials

We have developed teaching materials for junior or senior high school students to learn the principle of white emission by mixing familiar fluorescent dyes. The red, blue and green emission can be confirmed by irradiating UV light to the fluorescence dyes dissolved in organic solvents. Furthermore, the white emission could be successfully observed by changing their mixing ratio. Therefore, low cost teaching materials studying three primary colors as well as principle of luminescence were successfully developed.
