Recently, the preparation methods of low dimensional materials, such as nano dots and nano wires, are developed. One of those, the plasma discharge in liquid method is paid much attention as a new clean production technique of a nano dots. The way to make nano dots is that high voltage plasma discharge in the liquid precipitates nano dots from aqueous solution including raw material of the nano dots. During, the improvement of this high voltage plasma discharge method. We found that Au nano dots can be made by only application of direct current without high voltage plasma discharge.
