[15a-PB2-11] Sensitization of ZnO in Stacked Structures Containing Multiple Dyes Grown using Liquid Phase Molecular Layer Deposition

Keywords:molecular layer deposition,dye sensitization,stacked structures

Using p-type dyes such as fluorescein (FL), eosine (EO) and rose bengal (RB), which can accept electrons, and n-type dyes such as crystal violet (CV) and brilliant green (BG), which can donate electrons, for source molecules, stacked structures containing more than three kinds of dyes were grown by the liquid-phase molecular layer deposition (LP-MLD). A stacked structure of ZnO/EO/CV+BG exhibited a broad photocurrent spectrum that covers a wavelength region from 450 nm to 700 nm. The photocurrent spectrum was a superposition of the spectra of EO, CV, and BG.
