[15a-PB2-9] Fabrication of optical 3-methyl-4-nitropyridine-N-oxid (POM) film by melting method

We report on a study for linear and nonlinear optical properties of the 3-methyl-4-nitropyridine-N-oxides (POM)’s thin film by wet process. We got a good quality thin film from melt POM liquid. This method is easier and lower cost than vacuum deposition. Also, we measure the transmission spectra and the second-order nonlinear susceptibility in this film.
