[15p-2A-19] Observation of Au nanoparticle incorporation into lipid bilayers in solution

Lipid bilayers are expected as new insulating nanofilms because they have a high insulation and a fluidity. Recently, nanocomposites consist of lipid bilayers and metal nanoparticles have been proposed. For example, it was reported that thiol-modified Au nanoparticles(Au NPs) were incorporated into lipid bilayers, and they were observed by transmission electron microscopy. In this study, we observed the interaction between Au NPs and lipid bilayers in solution.
