[15p-2J-9] Spinodal decomposition in the TiO₂-VO₂ system

Two topics related to the phase separation in the TiO₂-VO₂ system are presented. First is the doping effect of Al³⁺ and Nb⁵⁺ ions; Al³⁺ and Nb⁵⁺ doping is effective for the kinetic control of phase separation of (Ti,V)O₂ solid solution. Second is the observation of the spinodal decomposition in the epitaxial growth film of Ti_0.4V_0.6O₂(001). The doping effect of Al³⁺ and Nb⁵⁺ ions and strain effect on the phase separation in TiO₂-VO₂ system will be discussed.
