[15p-2K-14] Spectral Dependence of Solar Cell Conversion Efficiency for Monochromatic Radiation II

We measured the energy conversion efficiency of Si photodiodes as a function of the wavelength and the incident radiant power. As the theory predicts, we have confirmed that the conversion efficiency is almost proportional to the wavelength and to the logarithm of the incident radiant power. Since the monochromatic radiation requires nearly the same power as of white radiation, we realized it by using a laser diode. We experimentally confirmed that the energy conversion efficiency is higher by using long wavelength monochromatic radiation rather than using white radiation.
