Ce3+ doped Gd3Al2Ga3O12(GAGG) crystals are used for a scintillator with high light yield. In this work, response of GAGG crystals to γ ray was measured by using an avalanche photodiode as a scintillation light detector at a temperature of 77 K. Wave length distribution was measured for scintillation lights emitted by GAGG crystals with γ-ray irradiation at a temperature of 77 K.
