[16a-1G-3] Synthesis of Zigzag Shaped Organic Semiconductors with Controlled Molecular Orbital and Carrier Transporting Property

Our group recently reported that W-shaped molecules possess the unique HOMOs with the same phases spreading along the long molecular axis. Transfer integral of molecules with this kind of HOMO is less susceptible against the displacement along the long molecular axis, therefore this molecular skeleton would be versatile. In this research, we focus on a zigzag shaped molecule chryseno[2,1-b:8,7-b']dithiophene with the same feature of HOMO and we report that its derivative showed the maximum mobility over 10 cm2/Vs.
