[16a-2F-1] Factors Determining Enhancement Spectrum of Polymer Organic EL Devices

Some excitons of made in an organic EL is a surface plasmon. If the metal surface is flat , surface plasmon disappear to become hot, but the surface plasmon when there are defects on the metal surface can be extracted as the scattered light. Therefore, measures the light intensity of the polymer organic EL devices were examined for the properties of the plasmon emission. Furthermore, we investigated the factors that determine the actual measurements by calculating the probability of scattering by defects and is compared with the optical enhancement of the polymer organic EL shape of the spectrum of the metal surface.
