[16a-2F-4] Single-mode Polymer Waveguide Connector for Low Power Optical Interconnect

Polymer waveguides have realized a high density optical interconnection. And the manufacturing process of polymer waveguides can be simplified. A polymer waveguide connector is necessary in order to connect the optical signal from polymer waveguides to other waveguides or to optical fibers. The PMT connector is a well-known standard of a multimode polymer waveguide connector. But it cannot be used as a single-mode polymer waveguide connector. We will talk about our original single-mode polymer waveguide connector which has original precise positioning structures. This connector also solved the positioning error of waveguide cores caused by a temperature.
