[16a-2F-6] Observation of the reflection spectra from dipole antennas formed on HfO2 / Al2O3

Gases such as CO2 and NO2 has a large absorbing characteristics at the wavelength of the mid-infrared region and gas sensor technology using mid-infrared light has been developed. However, the performance of the photodetector for the mid-infrared light source is insufficient. So the development of the photodetector fast response and high sensitivity is desired. We are currently considering the structure of photodetector equipped with optical antennas having a light collecting effect and electric field enhancement effect. This time, we observed the reflection spectra by the device equipped with dipole optical antennas on HfO2 / Al2O3.
