[16a-2K-9] Waveguide biosensor based on phase shift at total reflection by surrounding refractive index change

In this study, low-cost, high-performance optical waveguide-based biosensor for medical diagnostics were developed. Using our biosensor, optical system and the device can be fabricated cost effectively by using nanoimprint lithography. As a result, our biosensor could be performed to apply the medical applications, in particular POCT (Point Of Care Test). In this time, we report on the demonstration of detection principle by simulation and experiment.
