In the previous paper, it has been revealed that the degradation of Ag nanoparticles used for organic devices is initiated by the oxidation of the particles owing to the equalization of Fermi level between the particles and their surroundings. This study deals with the surface condition of the particles, the electronic structure of gelatin layers to form their Fermi levels, the comparison among protective colloids, and the effect of SAM on the particles on their stability.
