[16a-2W-8] Analysis of Radioactive Cesium-137 By using Resonant Laser SNMS

Small area analysis and imaging of radionuclide by high-resolution TOF-SIMS analysis is very meaningful. However, in the analysis of radioactive cesium, it is difficult by the mass interference barium isotopes. In the present study, we are performing apparatus development in order to perform the analysis using resonance laser ionization mass spectrometry (Resonant Laser SNMS). In this presentation, we report the analysis example of stable isotope and cedar ash by using a high resolution TOF-SIMS apparatus and the resonant laser SNMS.
