[16p-2J-7] Generation of the wide range THz waves using semiconductor laser chaos

Enhancements of Terahertz signals using Metallic V-Grooved Waveguides(MVG) in a MLD-THz-TDS system with laser chaos are investigated. In this paper the highest frequency of THz waves is 0.73 THz using a chaotic oscillation lasers and MVG, otherwise, it is limited below 0.55 THz using chaotic oscillation lasers and Si lens. Generated THz signals were stabilized and amplitudes of them were enhanced about 16 times using a chaotic oscillation laser instead of a C.W. semiconductor laser.
