[13a-B7-11] Future developments of dispersion interferometer for electron density measurement

Tsuyoshi Akiyama1 (1.NIFS)

Keywords:interferometer, second harmonic, nonlinear crystal

While “a dispersion interferometer” is basically an interferometer, it is insensitive to phase shifts caused by mechanical vibrations and change in the neutral gas density. Hence it is suitable for an electron density measurement of atmospheric pressure plasmas. We will report future developments of the dispersion interferometer: downsizing, faster time response, short-wavelength laser source, and combination with a polarimeter.
