Near-field optical microscope enables to study optical properties of nanomaterials with a nanometer spatial resolution. We have extended near-field imaging methods by combining laser spectroscopy with the near-field optical microscope. Recently, we developed ultrafast near-field imaging and near-field reflection spectroscope. In the symposium, we will discuss the potentials of the near-field imaging methods developed.
