[13p-A34-5] Magnetic field effect on heterogeneous photocatalysis
Keywords:Magnetic field effect, Heterogeneous photocatalysis, Reproducibility, Dissolved oxygen, Near-surface static potential, Magnetic convection, Phenomenological OANS model, Near-surface short-range diffusion
Any substance or phenomenon/reaction involves magnetic response. The so-called “magnetic field effect“ (MFE) is known in homogeneous reactions, with high reproducibility and a theory, however, only limited report in heterogeneous systems with interface, particularly in photocatalytic reactions. In this talk, through UV irradiation on typical photocatalysts under static magnetic field, various MFE-involved parameters are extracted from highly reproducible data, where a phenomenological MFE model will be discussed for the heterogeneous photocatalytic reaction system.
