[13p-A35-12] ZnS:Cu EL phosphors synthesized using nano particles as starting materials

Electroluminescent (EL) phosphor materials have been synthesized using ZnS:Cu nano particles in order to enhance the Cu activation and/or to increase the density of CuS which acts as the carrier injection. A luminance of 66 cd/m2 has been obtained at 206 V under 1 kHz sinusoidal voltage driving.
