▲ [13p-B1-12] Development of Tunnel-Current Identification by Nano-gap Device Toward Single-Molecule Electrical Sequencing

Single-molecule electrical sequencing technology is one of the promising candidates for next-generation sequencers. We have proposed a single-molecule tunnel-current based detection method by using a nano-gap device and have demonstrated detections and discriminations of specific sample nucleotide and peptide. In this study, we developed the nano-gap devices integrated with molecular-control parts, and reported on the detection of nucleotide by this modification of molecular behaviors.
