[13p-B11-14] Full-color emission tuning by exciplex formation through aggregation

Avobenzone boron difluoride complex, an aggregative dye with aggregation induced emission color change from blue to green, was applied to the emissive materials for OLED. By controlling of doping ration of the complex and selecting of the host material of emissive layer, full-color emission tuning over the entire visible light region from blue to red was achieved by controlling monomer, excimer and exciplex emissions. Because of the aggregation induced exciplex formation property, we achieved a white OLED with a single emitting material in a single emissive layer.
