[13p-P8-32] Magento-optical Kerr Characterization of Nanocrystalline Fe3O4 monolayer and multilayers II

We have been synthesizing oleic-acid-modified Fe3O4 nanocrystals and then, magneto-optical Kerr effect was measured for nanocrystalline Fe3O4 monolayer. The nanocrystalline Fe3O4 multilayer can be also fabricated by using bifunctional organic molecules between monolayers. When Kerr rotation was measured for the nanocrystalline monolayer and multilayer fabricated on various thickness of SiO2 films, magnetization evaluated for the monolayer was enhanced by up to 10 times larger than the value reported in the literature. We'll discuss that how many nanocrystalline layers were affected by this enhancement.
