Ammonium functionalized fullerene derivative, EAF-I and AmPF-I2, was synthesized. Organic-inorganic perovskite films containing two types of fullerene derivatives, (EAF)2PbI4, (AmPF)PbI4, in the organic layers were prepared by mixing EAF-I and lead iodide. A layered structure was confirmed by X-ray diffraction profiles. Photovoltaic properties of obtained perovskites were evaluated. Hybrid perovskite solar cells containing each fullerene derivatives were fabricated, and power generation characteristics were measured.
