[13p-P9-9] Fabrication and Characterization of Thin-Film Solar cells with p-Type Semiconducting Materials Including a Phenothiazine Unit

We are developing thin film solar cells with H-Dibenzo[5,6][1,4]thiazino[3,2-a:2',3'-c]phenothiazine (DTPT), which has phenothiazine frame to useful as donor-related materials and strong light absorption due to the intramolecular charge transfer. In addition, it is expected to show high carrier mobilities based on the formation of the conduction column by the π—π stack and the S•••S contact. In this conference, we will report synthesis and fabrication of organic thin film solar cells using DTPT.
