[14a-B10-3] Controlling DNA motions with an AC gate voltage applied gate embedded in Nanopore

Nanopore based DNA detection devices have made great progress toward the DNA sequence. However, the detection of DNA bases is generally not reliable because of the high speed of the DNA translocation through a pore. We have focused on slowing down the DNA translocation with AC voltages on a gate fabricated inside a pore. We will discuss the results of gate voltages vs. translocation speeds.
