地球温暖化やエネルギー問題が深刻化する中、クリーンな発電技術として熱電変換が注目されている。熱電デバイスでは発電量を高めるため、本質的にp型とn型の素材を組み合わせた「π型モジュール」とする必要がある。今回、有機強誘電体P(VDF/TrFE)を、通常p型を示すカーボンナノチューブ薄膜に”積層するだけ”でn型化することを新たに発見したのでそのメカニズムとともに報告する。
