[14p-A35-5] Synthesis and characterization of (Y,Gd)2O3:Yb3+,Er3+upconversion fluorescent nanosheets

(Y,Gd)2O3:Yb3+,Er3+ upconversion fluorescent nanosheets were fabricated and characterized. (Y,Gd)2O3 was synthesized by calcining a precursor via hydrothermal method. Nanosheets were obtained when Gd/(Y+Gd) ≤ 25%. Upconversion photoluminescence intensity of (Y,Gd)2O3:Yb3+,Er3+ nanosheets increased with increasing calcination temperature from 600 °C to 800 °C with maintaining the nanosheet shape. T2 contrast ability for MRI was also confirmed on (Y,Gd)2O3:Yb3+,Er3+ nanosheets.
