[14p-B2-2] Computational study on terahertz spectra of carbohydrate

Terahertz (THz) absorption spectra of sucrose were investigated using density funtional theory. Temperature-dependent THz absorption spectra were measured and comapred with the calculated spectrum. Those were in good agreement. The results of peak assignment to atomic motion will be presented, indicating the direction of the hydrofgen bond plays a important role to determine the spectrum.
