In order to realize photonic quantum information technology, it is important to develop photonic quantum devices such as single photon sources, quantum phase gates, and quantum memories. Hybrid devices of an optical microcavity and single light emitter have attracted attention for the realization of these quantum devices. We have recently developed nanofiber Bragg cavity (NFBC), which are an optical nanofiber coupled with a microcavity, to realize fiber compatible hybrid devices. Here, we report our research toward the realization of the photonic quantum devices using the nanofibers and the NFBCs.
